Image Size and Mounting:
All photographs must be a minimum size of 8” x 10” and a maximum size of 12” x 16". Photographs MUST be mounted on clean, white, undamaged foam core with a 2” border.
Identification of Images:

- Maximum display area per image is 16" x 20".
- Bristol board, card stock or matte board is not permitted.
- No identifying markings of any kind are permitted on the front of the image or mounting.
- Matte's are not permitted.
- Prints must be securely adhered with no staples or exposed tape/glue on front or back of image or mounting material.
Identification of Images:
- 5 items must be clearly indicated in pen on the reverse, top left corner of each foam core mount;
- Category
- Short title of image
- "top" of image, indicated with arrow
- Name, address and telephone number of photographer
- Value of image for sale or indicate NFS (not for sale).
- For your convenience, we have provided a sheet of PA Submission Labels that can be filled in, printed & affixed to the back of your images.

Mounting 101
A beautiful print that is poorly mounted makes a poor statement. Here are some tips you can use to ensure your images are beautifully presented for judging and display...

- Use a good quality, NEW foam core board that is clean & has crisp edges
- Use high quality double sided tape around all edges of your image for a secure mount
- Use a SHARP knife to cut your foam core or the edges will fray
- Use a clean cloth to press images in place so you don't get smudges on your print or board
- Use a 2" wide ruler for perfect edges (available at most arts & craft stores)
- Take pride in the way your works of art are displayed to the Judges & the public

Here are some examples of mounting issues you want to avoid...
- Don't use old boards that are dirty or torn from previous mounts
- Don't use mounting adhesive in only the corners of the image - it will fall off during gallery display or before
- Don't use a dull knife or your edges will be ragged and frayed
- Don't submit a board covered in dirt and smudges
- Don't submit boards with uneven or inaccurately measured borders
- Don't mount images printed with uneven white borders. Trim the borders equally before mounting.
